What software do you use?
I use SoundSwitch to program lighting shows, including Static Looks, AutoLoops, and Track Lighting. For visual previews, I use L8 Visualizer, which simulates your full lighting setup in 3D so you can see how the show will look before delivery.
What do I need to send you?
To get started, I’ll need a list of your fixtures and their model numbers. If you've already created a venue layout in SoundSwitch, you can send that too. Otherwise, I can build it from your list. For custom track programming, send your audio files or a playlist with any timing notes or descriptions of what you're looking for.
Can you sync lighting to specific songs?
Yes. You can send the songs as audio files or share a playlist with track titles and any timing notes you want to include. I’ll create a custom light show that matches each track beat for beat.
What’s included in a programming package?
Depending on what you order, your package will include Static Looks, AutoLoops, or custom Track Lighting, all tailored to your setup and music style. The programming is customized to your music and lighting layout and delivered as a ready-to-use SoundSwitch file.
How long does it take to complete a project?
Most projects are completed within 3–5 days, depending on the complexity of your request. Track programming typically takes the longest, especially for multiple songs. Turnaround also depends on the number of fixtures and your overall setup. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.
Is there a limit to how many fixtures I can use?
No hard limit, but pricing may vary based on fixture count and complexity. Whether you have 4 lights or 40, I’ll make sure everything is mapped properly for optimal performance.
What if I need revisions?
One round of revisions is included with every project. Additional changes, like swapping tracks or changing fixture types, may include a small fee depending on scope.
Can you work with my specific lights?
Yes. I can map any DMX-controllable fixture supported by SoundSwitch. If your fixture isn’t natively supported, I can create a custom profile to unlock full control.
Can I preview the lighting before the show?
Yes. I can provide video previews so you can see exactly how the lighting will look before the event.
Are lasers supported?
Yes, but only if they are controllable via DMX. Since lasers vary widely in how they operate, I’ll need to discuss the details with you to understand how your specific model works and how best to integrate it.
